Position Overview:

We are seeking highly qualified and motivated part-time certified Science instructors to join our partner's educational team. As a Science educator within our collaborative online platform, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to international students. The successful candidates will be subject matter experts in Science, adept at remote teaching, and enthusiastic about integrating cutting-edge technology and AI into their pedagogy. This position offers flexible part-time hours, focusing on crafting courses rooted in project-based learning while utilizing the latest educational resources.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous online instruction tailored to high school students, specializing in Science.
• Design and implement project-based learning curriculum that seamlessly integrates cutting-edge technology and AI tools to enrich student learning experiences.
• Create and deliver asynchronous lessons and assessments that adhere to curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Offer timely feedback, guidance, and support to students to foster their academic growth and achievement.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive online learning environment, promoting active participation and collaboration among students.
• Attend monthly faculty meetings to collaborate with peers, share best practices, and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement targeted interventions as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school administrators to address individual student needs and concerns.
• Stay abreast of the latest educational research, technology tools, and best practices in online teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with the instructional support team to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure a seamless learning experience for students.
• Contribute to the overall enhancement and growth of the school by providing valuable input and feedback on instructional strategies and curriculum advancements.
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth by actively participating in professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an active teaching certificate in the relevant state is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience and success in remote teaching, preferably within a high school setting.
• Subject matter expertise and the ability to effectively teach various high school Science subjects.
• Familiarity with project-based learning methodologies and a keen interest in designing innovative and engaging curriculum.
• Proficiency in leveraging new technology tools and integrating AI resources into the instructional process.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently manage online instruction and assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage and support students, as well as collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Genuine passion for teaching and a sincere commitment to the academic success and well-being of students.
• Ability to virtually attend monthly faculty meetings and actively contribute to discussions and collaborative initiatives.
• Experience working with both domestic and international students is highly desirable.
• Availability and flexibility to work part-time hours, accommodating students across different time zones.
